Journalist provides the latest update on the injury of Manchester City superstar

Pep Guardiola

Journalist gives the recent injury update of Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur claims that the City star will be back in action soon. The fans at Etihad will be seeing a transformed version of the Belgian when he returns to starting XI.

It is reported that he is currently working on his upper body which will make him robust. However there are speculations of him being attracting interest from the Saudi Arabian clubs. Nevertheless, City fans will be happier to get there talisman back on the field as soon as possible.

He’s lost some weight. People who know Kevin a bit will have already seen it. He’s done lots of work on his upper body. Before, everything was purely talent, he didn’t have to work body-wise.

Now with that hamstring injury, he said himself in an interview that he’s looking after his food again, looking after his body and doing lots of strength exercises – more than he ever did. That injury has been, for him, like a warning sign. You’re turning 33 years old, you still want to play for two or three more years, you need to do something extra about your body.”

Kevin was never a lightweight player even before his injury. He was always strong and active sports man when on the field. However, if the Belgian returns back with even better physical standards, it will be a jaw dropping second half of the season. Hopefully, he will have great run of games and no further injury setbacks will occur for him in future.
