Journalist James Olly shared the latest injury update for Saka ahead of the Manchester City clash. Arsenal will be facing the Sky Blues this Sunday evening. However, this game is looking more of a decider by injuries and suspension. While City will miss the services of Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri, it looks Arsenal are losing the trickery of Bukayo Saka. Indeed, Saka went off injured against Lens in the Champions League this week. There’s been so much speculation around whether or not he’ll be able to play in this game.

Speaking on ESPN recently, James Olly shares what he heard from the sources and the near ones of Saka. He said,

“I tried to push him on it in the press conference and said can you tell us if he’s had a scan. I would suggest the fact he’s been picked for England is a good sign. Speaking to sources around Bukayo, apparently it’s touch and go. But if the player has any chance of making it he will play, it’s a match he doesn’t want to miss and he’ll want to be involved.”

As a matter of fact, whether one wants Arsenal or City to win, everyone wants to have the best talents from both sides to be on the pitch. Saka facing off against City is one of the great battles in the Premier League. It will be a huge disappointment not seeing Saka at the grass. This clash has the potential for being one of the best games of the Premier League. Though, Saka’s absence will surely take away some lustre from the mega clash.
