Quansah already impressed everyone in the pre-season tour as he featured in every game before the new season started. With Ibrahima Konate’s absence, he might get a start against Newcastle at St. James Park.

Klopp admits that he has alway been unlucky with injuries in his squad, specially at Liverpool. However, the manager also hinted that they are not out of transfer market as they’ll hope to bring another midfielder or a centre-back.

Jurgen Klopp discussed various issues and said :-

“In an ideal world we have six, seven, eight centre-halves and we are covered for absolutely everything.

“We know we need to be lucky with injuries, we have no doubt about that.

“I have no doubt about the quality of the boys that we have. We have Jarell Quansah, a super talented player as well.

“So, in this moment we are covered. But it’s not dreamland where you can be prepared for every situation.

“We will try to do our absolute best to have a squad next week where we can react on pretty much everything. Is that possible? We will see.”

Liverpol have their own problems specially at the their back-line over the past few season. Hence Quansah might became a regular starter for Reds this season, due to his physical attributes.

Jurgen Klopp has always been good with the youngsters as he always gave them first-team opportunities and proper game-time at top-flight.
