Manager Jurgen Klopp is stunned Dominik Szoboszlai’s performance against Leicester City as the Hungarian dominated the game in the second-half.
After conceding an early in first ten minutes, Liverpool made another incredible comeback to beat Foxes 3:1 at Anfield. Szoboszlai scored a screamer from 30 yards out last night.
Speaking on the BBC Radio Five Live, the 22-year-old suprised Jurgen Klopp last night. The manager said :-
“Dom [Szoboszlai] was a surprise with how fast he has fit in.
“It was pretty much from the first minute.
“Top-class player with a lot of quality. He never stops. He learns a lot from the game.”
Liverpool’s unbeaten in last 19 fixture across all competitions. Reds look in a different mode this season as they are making habit of second-half comebacks.
However, Szoboszlai is currently at his very best. Club Supporters have already started comparing him with Anfield legend Steven Gerrard.
Pundit Craig Burley applauded the midfielder for his performance against Leicester City as he termed him as “Rolls Royce”. He said :-
“He is a Rolls-Royce of a midfielder. He’s the captain of Hungary. He’s got a great touch, got good physicality, good range of passing, can score a goal.
“ Szoboszlai been a great signing for them and he gives them a little bit of everything in the middle of the park. But that goal was special. He can strike a ball, that lad.”
Szoboszlai is currently living a dream with Liverpool. The midfielder will improve with passing campaigns under Jurgen Klopp as he is one of most exciting signing this summer.
