Kai Havertz dreamed to join Real Madrid – Nizaar Kinsella

German international Kai Havertz dreamed to join Spanish Giants Real Madrid, but he’s set for a move to Arsenal this summer instead.

Speaking on Inside Arsenal, Nizaar Kinsella spoke about the forward. Havertz is apparently about to join in the Gunners, but it hasn’t been his dream move in recent times.

According to Kinsella, Havertz always dreamed of joining Real Madrid. The journalist thought that the deal could materialise this summer and the German was on his way to the Bernabeu.

However, the move to join the Spanish Giants haven’t happened for Havertz and he is set to join Arsenal instead. Gunner paid £60 million for the Chelsea forward this summer.

Kinsella shared what knows about the German international :-

“He was always dreaming of Real Madrid, I thought Madrid would come in this summer. During the pandemic Madrid didn’t have money, so the pandemic guided him to Chelsea. It has taken him away from Real Madrid who have been building up for a move for a long time, but a move to Madrid has never materialised, but Chelsea and Arsenal have”.

Arsenal progressed heavily in last one year. The fact that Kai Havertz opted join them while harbouring his dream of his Real Madrid instead.

Gunners lost their star-status in last few years. They finished right twice in a row under Mikel Arteta before fifth-place finish in the 2021/22.

However, after recent 18 months under Mikel Arteta, Arsenal are back to their dominant reign of form, but they’re still not at Madrid’s level.
