Kieffer Moore speaks to the AFC Bournemouth fans

After completing a deadline-day deal from Cardiff City. Kieffer Moore described the Cherries or Bournemouth desire to return to the Premier League as the biggest draw for him.

Before the window slammed shut on head coach Scott Parker’s bid for the Championship title. The Welsh international was one of five new players to come through the door.

Kieffer Moore signs for AFC Bournemouth

Moore is coming off a season in which he has only scored five goals in the league after scoring 20 in 42 games the previous season. The deal brings the forward’s 18-month stay in Cardiff to an end. During which time he scored 25 goals for the Bluebirds.

The Cherries had been interested in signing the 29-year-old for the bulk of the summer season. After he was unable to play for Cardiff owing to an injury. He sustained against his future team on December 30.

As the transfer season drew closer to the end, rumours intensified. While Bournemouth ultimately took action to sign the player on a three-and-a-half-year deal. And it has now been revealed that Wales forward made his intentions clear. When he submitted a transfer request, much to the astonishment of the club.

According to reports, the charge might reach £5 million if add-ons are added. While Cardiff paid £2 million to Wigan for the Wales international in the summer of 2020.

“I’m buzzing, it’s felt like a lot to get to this point,” Moore told the club website. “But I’m thrilled that it is now over the line and I’m officially a Bournemouth player.

“The club’s ambition to be in the Premier League was a massive pull for me, they’ve got great players. the great staff here, great facilities and they find themselves in a great position in the league so it was really enticing.”

While the attacker is leaving Cardiff City Stadium after submitting a transfer request.
