Kieron Pollard touched the 600 matches marked, Heartfelt wishes from Bumrah

The star West Indian Kieron Pollard made his 600th T-20 appearance on the 9th of August, Tuesday. Pollard’s Mumbai Indians mate Jasprit Bumrah twitted a heartfelt congratulations for his fellow mate.

Pollard is the first player to leave his footsteps on such a huge milestone. Another West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo is just behind Polly. He played 543 matches yet. Moreover, the Pakistani star Shoaib Malik played 472 matches. The Universal Boss, Chris Gayle is the fourth highest, as he played a number of 463 matches. Ravi Bopara too, represented in 426 games.

Pollard achieved this remarkable feat while playing for the London Spirit against Manchester Originals in The Hundreds. It was the Lords, and Pollard made sure to make it remarkable. He smashed an unbeaten 11 balls 34 runs, decorated with just a boundary and four huge sixes.

Moreover, Pollard and his team saw contributions from captain Eoin Morgan. He scored 37, while Zak Crawley 41. They assured that their team can post 160 runs on the board, but lost 7 wickets. However, Manchester Originals stumbled while touching 100 runs. They could only manage 108 runs but fell short of batters. Amongst them, Zak Crawley contributed 36 runs. However, from the Spirit’s side, Jordan Thompson was the leasing wicket-taker. He grabbed 4 wickets by giving 21 runs. London Spirit sealed the match by 52 runs.

Speaking about Kieron Pollard, he nonetheless, has represented a number of teams and franchises over the years.
