Pundit Gregory Robertson claims Jurgen Klopp shouted at Cody Gakpo against Wolves as his mistake led to Wolves opener on Saturday.

After conceding in the first-half, Liverpool made yet another incredible comeback at Molineux. Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah scored the goals for the away team.

Meanwhile, the Dutch International was at his very best on Saturday and pundit Gregory Robertson is quite impressed with him. Gakpo scored the equaliser in the second-half as he looks confident on the pitch.

Speaking on The Game Football Podcast, Robertson stated that Klopp was not very happy with Gakpo in the first-half as he gave away the ball before Wolves opening goal. He said :-

“There are still massive questions about the balance in the midfield for me. They were woeful (in the first half). There was no energy, no bite, and no cohesion. He berated Cody Gakpo just before Wolves scored the opening goal. It was a long throw and he threw a leg at it and they broke away and scored the opener.”

Klopp was absolutely furious with his team for their first half performance at Molineux. Liverpool were struggling to find their rhythm as the home team were pouncing on them.

The whole dressing room came under fire at halftime as the German’s team talk might have changed the course of the match. Reds looked like a different team in the second-half as they won the match by 3:1.

Europa League campaign starts on Thursday night as Liverpool will lock horns with Australia outfit LASK. Klopp and his team will be all charged to up change their fortunes this season.
