Liverpool are looking to have a round of talks for a transfer move of Napoli star Piotr Zielinski. Liverpool are reportedly lining up for a free transfer of Zielinski who will run out of contract in January. According to reports in Italy, Liverpool are going to face a competition from West Ham United for the signature of Poland international. Moreover, Piotr could discuss a pre-contract with a non-Italian team after January 1. This can hand Liverpool and West ham an advantage over Juventus who are in a hunt for the midfielder too. The Italian giants are looking for replacements of Paul Pogba and Fagioli owing to their suspensions.

Jurgen Klopp is a fan of 29-year old who helped Napoli secure their Scudetto in 3 decades. According to Corriere dello Sport, Liverpool are preparing to open talks over a move. It is claimed that Napoli could even be tempted to sell in January in order to recoup funds and prevent him leaving for nothing six months later. Furthermore, Liverpool have made immense changes in their midfield over the past few months. Their lack of energy in the middle saw the Klopp’s side to finish fifth in the last Premier League season.

The Merseyside club witnessed the exits of Henderson, Naby Keita, Milner, Fabinho and Oxalade-Chamberlain. Alexis mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch joined the club in a major overhaul. Zielinski could be another one in the list soon. The Polish has started in 11 games for Napoli this season so far. He has been involved in 2 goals and provided 2 assists as well.
