Liverpool Goalkeeper could leave on loan this summer

Young Goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga could leave Liverpool on a loan move this summer, as the Brazilian shot-stopper needs regular game-time to flourish.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Pitaluga suggested that he could leave Liverpool to join a EFL club, just like last season. The 20-year-old spent last season at Macclesfield Town.

The young goalkeeper discussed about his future plans :-

“Going out on loan to a Football League team is one possibility. We will see how it goes, but it is massive at my age to be playing games. It would be a step up from last season, but I am more than ready for that.”

With Allison still the first choice man between sticks for Reds, Pitaluga needs to gain experience before making a name for him at Anfield. Loans moves are very important in today’s footballing world, as it helps youngster to gain regular game-time around the globe.

In recent years, EFL clubs have done a great job in developing young players and encourages them to become world-class. Pitaluga looks keen on moving out of Anfield this summer.

The shot-stopper is a huge fan of his Brazilian compatriot

Marcelo Pitaluga is huge fan of his senior Brazilian compatriot Allison Becker. The youngster idolizes the Liverpool No1 as he seems to learn lot of things from him at Kirkby.

Since joining in 2020, Pitaluga has earned lot of reputation which out on loan to Macclesfield. However, the youngster he learned man things from Allison and said :-

“I feel like I’ve learnt a lot being at Liverpool with such incredible players and, obviously for me, having Alisson here. He is Brazilian as well and is one of the best ’keepers in the world.”

With more time and expirience, Pitaluga can also established himself as a regular in Liverpool jersey in the coming years. But for now, he needs regular time at the pitch.
