Fabrizio Romano has claimed that winger Mykhaylo Mudryk will be the subject of interest of as many as 15 clubs all over Europe. Fabrizio Romano conveyed this information via his Caught Offside blog. Romano had reported that Liverpool had expressed an interest in the Shakthar Donetsk player via Calciomercato. The report stated that Liverpool and Arsenal are the two clubs with the most interest in the player.

However, Romano further added that he had no “concrete” news about the player. He said:

“Despite growing speculation, I have no updates on Mudryk now – I think he will be linked with 15 clubs in the next three months, and it’s normal as he’s a top talent, but nothing will be decided now. “

The Ukrainian has had a good start to the season. He has had five goal contributions in five games for Donetsk. Mudryk could be a good fit at Liverpool as they are currently in rebuild mode. Having young blood such as Murdyk is a good incentive to begin the rebuild at Anfield. However, it will be strange for them to go after another forward when they lack firepower in the midfield. Liverpool’s recent identity crisis and bad performances are mainly due to injuries to key midfield players. As such, it would be unwise of Liverpool to not strengthen their midfield in the upcoming transfer window

Liverpool will have to pay Donetsk somewhere in the range of €45-50m for Mudryk

In his blog, Romano has stated that Liverpool, if they decide to go for Mudryk, will have to pay €45-50millon for the Donetsk winger. He said:

“Shakhtar will take their time and I’m sure they want more than €45-50m for Mudryk … but we’ve to see how his performances in the Champions League will be in the next weeks.
