Low attendance marked at the Asia Cup 2023 opening match held at Multan Cricket Stadium, Pakistan. Asia Cup 2023 began on August 30th, Wednesday.


Pakistan hosted the first game in their country at Multan Cricket Stadium. After a long time, the Pakistan Cricket Board, for the first time, had the rights to be the host of any such important contest. Further, He has now surpassed Virat Kohli to become the first captain to score 150+ runs in an Asia Cup match. Lastly, this is Babar Azam’s highest score against Nepal. Previously, Namibian player Michael Van Lingen was 1st to highest score of 133 runs of 137 balls against Nepal.
