Low attendance marked at the Asia Cup 2023 opening match held at Multan Cricket Stadium, Pakistan. Asia Cup 2023 began on August 30th, Wednesday.

LOW ATTENDANCE AT OPENING

Pakistan hosted the first game in their country at Multan Cricket Stadium. After a long time, the Pakistan Cricket Board, for the first time, had the rights to be the host of any such important contest. The Live coverage of matches and other pictures and videos revealed the low attendance for the game. However, PCB has yet to disclose the official numbers.

He is now second on the list of the highest scores as an individual in the history of the Asia Cup. Virat Kohli remains at number one spot with 183 runs. Further, He has now surpassed Virat Kohli to become the first captain to score 150+ runs in an Asia Cup match. Lastly, this is Babar Azam’s highest score against Nepal. Previously, Namibian player Michael Van Lingen was 1st to highest score of 133 runs of 137 balls against Nepal.
