Tottenham Hotspur midfielder James Maddinson showed a dominant performance against Sheffield United and Pundit Tim Sherwood is quite impressed with it.
After watching an absolute thriller on Saturday, Sherwood is quite impressed with Spurs comeback in the second-half. The visitor’s were jolted as Tottenham showed them whose the real boss.
Richarlison scored the equaliser from Ivan Perisic’s corner. Dejan Kulusevski then scored in 90th minute of the match to seal the game for Spurs. However James Maddinson is already becoming natural ball winner at North-London as has four goal contribution in last four Premier League appearances.
Pundit Tim Sherwood is quite impressed with Maddison’s performance on Saturday. His on and off the pitch is already making a huge difference at Spurs this season. He further said :-
“I’m quite enjoying the game to be honest.
“It’s been a chore in recent years watching Tottenham but not this year, they’vebeen really pleasing on the eye, they move the ball around, make some good patterns.
“[James] Maddison is very dominant in his play, [Manor] Solomon has been outstanding on the left-hand side, they’ve just not found the finish.
“[Wes] Foderingham in the Sheffield United goal is still on the pitch, he’s been outstanding, he’s pulled some great saves off.”
Manager Ange Postecoglou have use four new signings in the staring line-up this season. However Spurs looks a different team under nre manager in this campaign.
After Leicester City getting relegated last season, Maddison joined Spurs this summer. Although he will be important part of their midfield as Postecoglou want to start filling their trophy cabinet.
Tottenham forward’s will be eager to play ahead of the Maddinson as the England will create chances for them.
