Manchester City looking to get ease from injury problems before Nottingham Forest clash. Two of their absentees are edging for a return. Pep has finally got some positive news to share as two layers are nearing to return before their Premier League clash. Bernardo Silva was substituted with an apparent injury in the Champions League win over Crvena Zvezda on Tuesday.

Manchester City have been without Mateo Kovacic, John Stones, Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian midfielder sustained a long-term injury. Pep even said that City are in a trouble when it comes to the injury list. However, Jack Grealish returned to training on Wednesday and Pep has given positive response for Kovacic as well. Though, Bernardo will not be available for the Nottingham Forest clash.

Speaking ahead of the clash with Forest, Pep informs that Grealish can come off the bench while Mateo can also return. Pep sad;

“Jack is coming back, he has trained and maybe he can play some minutes. Kovacic is nearly back. But now we’ve lost Bernardo for a few days and John and Kevin are still out.

On Bernardo, Pep said that the Portuguese could miss up to two weeks. Meanwhile, Stone remains on the sidelines. On being asked why City have sustained so much injuries, the City manager replies,

“A lot of games in a row, not much rest. This is just that. We demand a lot of effort, sometimes we cannot sustain it. Jack in Sheffield suffered an incredible knock to his knee, it happens. But muscular injuries mean you miss a lot of games.”
