India are coming into the ODI series after a 2-1 win in the T20Is against England.
Furthermore, they are now pumped up and would certainly like to whitewash England 3-0 in the ODIs.
As for England, for their part, would like to avenge the loss of the T20Is as they welcome back Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root and Ben Stokes into the team.
For India, their standout performers have been Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Deepak Hooda to name a few.
But, India’s senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli need to perform better in the ODI series as they have a lot of answering to do.
Additionally, even bowlers have done an excellent job for India in the T20Is and their experience will be sought in the ODIs as well.
Thus, India would need to outshine England as they haven’t played many ODIs in the recent past.
Their last ODI was against West Indies at home where India completely dominated the visitors.
As for England, they have a perfect track record when it comes to ODIs.
