Pundit Paul Merson described Dominik Szoboszlai’s addition into the Liverpool squad as outstanding buy for the Mersyside club.
The Hungarian international has been a star performer since joining this summer. He has a brilliant competative debut against Chelsea on the opening day of Premier League campaign.
Then against Bournemouth, Szoboszlai again impressed everyone and also tracked back to Trent Alexander-Arnold occassionally.
Szoboszlai was too good against Newcastle United as Liverpool had to complete the match with 10 men. He has been a crucial figure in Klopp’s team in this campaign.
Paul Merson also suggests that Szoboszlai’s addition has been crucial. He said :-
“I’m a huge fan of Dominik Szoboszlai, he was outstanding against Newcastle.
“He didn’t stop, picked the right passes, and I think he’s an outstanding buy.
“If Liverpool don’t finish in the top four you’re asking questions.”
Szoboszlai has been a star since joining Liverpool. He has been praised by everyone due to his brilliant display in the opening few matches in Premier League.
Dammy Murphy recently termed him as powerful technical gifted, elegant footballer with great tenacity on the pitch. The 22-year-old will be crucial for Liverpool in the upcoming years at Anfield.
Sometimes new signings from different league and country needs to time to settle down at a new atmosphere. However, Szoboszlai needed no time at Liverpool to show his real calibre.
Liverpool already changed their midfield completely as they brought the likes Mac Allister, Szoboszlai and Endo this summer. Klopp will be excited to work with a new looked midfield for Reds in this campaign.
