Mohammad Salah names the Liverpool player he is always pushing to work harder

Liverpool superstar Mo Salah names the youngster he always say to work harder. Salah was talking about his Liverpool teammate Harvey Elliott after his performance against Crystal Palace. The Egyptian was lauding the English youth international after his match-winning performance at Selhurst Park. The 20-year old came in as a substitute and clinched the victory for the Reds. He found the back of the net from outside of the box in the added time. Owing to his goal, Liverpool summed all three points from the match.

Liverpool finished the game 2-1 courtesy to Salah and Elliott’s goals. Moreover, they made a comeback after trailing from a goal behind. Salah told TNT Sports,

“He’s a good kid. He’s learning, I always try to push him in the gym and also practice after training and just do something extra because without working hard, we would not achieve something big.

But he’s having a good career and I’m sure he can have much better than that, but he just needs to put in the work and I’m happy for him. I’m always next to his side and always tell him, if he wants to speak then come to me. Sometimes you need to work as a coach for young players but I’m happy about it.”

Elliott has made 55 appearances in the Premier League so far contributing two goals and three assists. Moreover, he is just 20 and has a long way to go ahead. With Jurgen Klopp guiding him, he can become a huge image for the club in future. The German manager is even a figure known for making superstars like Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Virgil Van Dijk during his tenure.
