Mykhailo Mudryk sends a message to Mauricio Pochettino ahead of Villa clash

Mykhailo Mudryk has sent a message to Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the clash with Aston Villa. Mudryk is hoping to start his second consecutive Premier League match this Sunday. The Ukrainian was given a place in the starting squad last weekend in a goalless draw with Bournemouth.

Though, he could not make any impact before being subbed after 60 minutes. Only if his teammates made a better finish, he would have registered two assists in his tally. He set up two great opportunities for Nicolas Jackson and Conor Gallagher only for them to miss the chances.

However, in the post-match conference of Chelsea, Mauricio said, “He is improving.”

“He still needs to learn; the Premier League is very fast, the speed of the game is so fast. I think it’s about understanding the game better, try to be more connected sometimes with the team. We need to give the time and to give the tools for him to improve during the season.”

Nonetheless, Mudryk is continuing to work hard in hope of another chance to make an impact. With the Aston Villa game nearing, Mudryk has once again taken the help of social media to show the management what he can deliver to the team if given another opportunity.

On Instagram, Mykhailo posted an edited video of some training clips showing a shooting drill with Mudryk finding the back of the net emphatically on three occasions. One of Mauricio’s biggest decision this week will be Mudryk’s position with other options available too. Ben Chilwell, Sterling and Cole Palmer are the options available.
