The ICC recently announced the players who have been nominated by the jury for the player of the month. Meanwhile, the announced players are Jonny Bairstow from England, Prabhath Jayasuriya from Sri Lanka, and Gustav McKeon from France.

Since his debut in the Europe T20 World Cup 2024 Sub-Regional Qualifiers, he has made around 200 runs. His best has been in 76 off 54 balls. The batter has also scored back-to-back centuries against Switzerland and Norway where he made 109 and 101 consecutively. He became the first man to score back-to-back centuries in T20I. He also broke the record of having scored more runs for an associate nation.
After these achievements, he again made a brilliant score of 84 runs against Estonia. The player is also very good with the Ball. He has struck 4 wickets.
Prabath Jayasuriya
A new spin sensation of the Sri Lankan attack had a dream debut in the test match earlier the previous month. The spinner made an impact with 6/122 and 6/80 in the match against Australia. He was the main reason why Lions won the match by an innings against the visitors. He continued his special performance in the series against Pakistan as well. He became the most successful bowler of the side by picking 5/82 and 4/135.

He was also the player of the month for June as well. The player of the month started his next month in the same fashion. Furthermore, He was the main player in the test against India where he scored two tons.
He in the first innings made 106 which took England from a bad position to a good one. Later in the second innings, he scored 114 and took the team to an easy win.
