Nuno Tavares will return to Arsenal after his loan spell at Marseille

Arsenal loanee Nuno Tavares claimed that he will return to his parent club, Arsenal after finishing his loan spell in France.

The youngster is enjoying a good loan spell at Marseille, as he scored six goals in 27 appearances so far this season. This might impress current Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and give him a chance to play in Premier League, next season.

However, Tavares explained on Tuesday about his future plans and he also suggested that he will not stay in France, forever. During a press conference, Tavares said:-

“Everyone knows that I still have two years left with Arsenal on my contract. We’ll finish the season. I’m here until the end of the season to reach our objectives with Marseille. I can’t tell you much more.

I feel very good here, with these players, this manager. We get along really well. At the end of the season, I will return to Arsenal. I can’t say much more.”

The 23-year-old has two years left in his contract with Arsenal and he is not looking for a move away from The Premier League Club.

Mikel Arteta will like to use Tavares as they need depth in their squad, next season. Also, the club will also participate in the Champions League, due to which, they need more squad players.

Tavares has definitely proven his quality in France, this season and he also has the quality to thrive in Premier League. However, his performance in France will give him great confidence for next season and will wish to cement his place on Arteta’s side, next season.
