Former Reds Peter Crouch is delighted with Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez’s progress in this campaign as he backs the Uruguayan International.

Liverpool are yet to loose a game in this current campaign as they look in tremendous form. After last season’s horror, Reds look to make a statement with their performance and spirit this term.

Speaking on his own Podcast, Crouch is confident of the fact that Liverpool will continue their good form this week. He specially mentioned Darwin Nunez for his heroics lately for the Mersyside club.

He stated that Nunez is in good reign of form and he will play an important part for Liverpool in this campaign. The Uruguayan looks to change his fortune after last season’s average performance for Reds.

Peter Crouch praised the 24-year-old and said :-

“I’ve gone with 3-1 to Liverpool. They’re really clicking. The front three look like they’ve had a season together. I think Nunez is obviously bang in form. He scored a couple the other day. Salah, I don’t think that door is shut, I think he will probably do one more year and then leave at the end of it.”

Manager Jurgen Klopp will be satisfied with his team’s performance after a good start to this current campaign.

Nunez’s addition last summer was under lot scrutiny after Uruguayan was hugely criticised by pundits last season. He will look to rewrite his fortunes after good start in last three outings for Reds

However, the forward might be injured as Uruguayan national team coach Marco Bielsa stated that Nunez has a muscular problem.
