Portsmouth manager shares why he was shocked with 20-year Man City loanee

Manchester City

Portsmouth manager John Mousinho reveals what surprised him with Manchester City loanee. Portsmouth manager was praising 20-year old City boy Alex Robertson. The youngster is thrashing it at Fratton Park while his loan spell ends next summer. The 37-year old was talking to Manchester City’s official website lauding the Australian international. Moreover, he told the things with great details saying,

“If you take an overall view on it, he’s come into the side and proved himself as one of the first names on the team sheet every week.

Really pleased with everything he’s done so far, established himself in the team, become one of our best players and for his first loan in this country he’s done really well. We knew he was going to have an impact, but we did not think he’d have the same impact he’s had.”

Mousinho is clearly surprised and happy by the performance of the player. John has already confirmed that the Sky Blues can call Robertson in January if they feel so. He told,

“You never know for certain, because it’s something Manchester City control. I’d be surprised though if they saw him flourishing and wanted to change anything.”

However, calling him back in January is not looking a likely deal. It is highly a doubt for such a move to carry out. Though, given to Robertson’s form and his Australian roots, a permanent bid can be coming for the prodigy. It may be something that City will be expecting. Give they already have loads of talent in the squad, they may feel to offload some of the talents as well.
