Pundit Ray Parlour believes that French legend Thierry Henry can help to sign PSG starman Kylian Mbappe next summer.
Gunners have been linked with a move for French international next summer. But they’ll face lots of competition from other big clubs.
Arsenal have been very busy in this transfer market so far. They’ve already signed Kai Havertz and extended Reiss Nelson’s contract, while deals for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber will be announced soon.
Kylian Mbappe will be a dream transfer for Arsenal supporters next season. They’ll make huge statement in the footballing world, if they’re able to sign the French forward.
Pundit Ray Parlour has now claimed that club legend Thierry Henry could play a part if the move ever happens. However, he also reckons few words of advice from Henry to convince Mbappe to move to the Emirates. Pundit further stated :-
“It’s funny you mention Henry whispering in the player’s ear, because I live close to Mark Noble and every time I see him I ask him about Declan Rice!
“I’m sure Thierry could play a role if there was genuine interest from both Arsenal and Mbappe.
“We all know that rumours can be a bit silly, but how exciting would that be if Arsenal could bring a player like Mbappe? We love the rumours and the gossip – it’s a big part of football.
“That is the kind of rumour that as an Arsenal fan, you want to be hearing.”
Well to be honest, if can anyone can convince Mbappe to join Arsenal, it’s probably Thierry Henry. The legendary French footballer is an idol to many young players across the country.
Hence, if Henry gives a go, Mbappe can join Arsenal on a free transfer next season.
