Pundit cannot believe how quickly Matheus Nunes settled at Man City

Paul Dickov has said that Matheus Nunes seems to have settled in Manchester City squad. The Sky Blues signed him from Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer for a fee of £53m. Despite being a new face at the club, the Portuguese is getting some prsise by a Pundit close to the club. Speaking on talkSPORT, Dickov had this to say about Nunes. He said,

Matheus Nunes has come in from Wolves and looked as if he’s been there for quite a long time.”

Since joining City, Nunes has made six appearances, starting three of them in all competitions. Despite having only a handful of chances, Nunes has displayed what he can provide on the pitch with his abilities. Moreover, it is positive to hear from Dickov that he feels the Portuguese is ready for the challenge. Man City have a big clash ahead with Arsenal at The Emirates Stadium this Sunday. This might be a great opportunity for the former Wolves man to prove himself and secure his spot in the starting squad.

Moving forward, if the Portuguese international can continue to impress on the pitch and learn what Guardiola wants from him, he’ll definitely find himself on the receiving end of even more praise.
