Pundit Don Hutchinson is amazed by the fitness levels of Liverpool star Mohammad Salah. Hutchinson praised the recent performances of Salah in this season as well under Klopp. The 31-year old scored a brace on Saturday against Everton in the Merseyside Derby. The Egyptian has scored seven goals and four assists so far this season. Don Hutchison thinks that he is going ‘under the radar’ and that he is also ‘unbelievably fit’, he told Premier League Productions. Moreover, Alan Shearer also praised him after the game.
Hutchinson was speaking after the game about Salah and said,
“He is just so devastating in front of goal. His numbers are off the charts.
“It’s even the small things like the fitness levels. To get yourself in that position, at that point in the game, he is unbelievably fit.
“I think he has gone under the radar. This season especially if you look at the goal involvements. Every single game, he is picking up goals and assists. He is devastating. The numbers just are phenomenal.
“Credit Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool, and the player, for what they have turned Salah into.”
Liverpool are well on the path of returning to Champions League football yet again next season. However, if they want to be title contenders, then Mo Salah needs to stay fit. Its obvious that the links of him with those of Saudi clubs will be in forth place yet again next year. But perhaps, a return to the Champions League will persuade Salah to stay at Anfield for whom he is already a legend.
