Pundit praises Yven Bissouma’s performance against Arsenal

Pundit Robbie Mustoe acknowledges Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yven Bissouma for his excellent performance against Arsenal in the North-London derby.

Speaking on The 2 Robbies Podcast, Mustoe was quite happy with Spurs performance on Saturday. Despite conceding, Ange Postecoglou’s side made great recovery to share a point with their neighbours.

However, Bissouma has been one of the brightest prospect in Tottenham team this season. Since his arrival this summer, he is peak of his form as his looks confident on the pitch.

Some people have even stated that Bissouma was the best performer for Spurs against Arsenal on Saturday. The 26-year-old has been brilliant with the ball.

Under pressure, Bissouma was more lethal as no matter how many Arsenal players are there, he seemingly came away with any situation with possession.

Pundit Robbie Mustoe lauded the Malian International for his fine display. He said :-

“I know he’s really good on the ball. He’s technical and he can play and he’s got great vision. He can play round corners. And he’s clever. He manoeuvres the ball lovely.

“But I was surprised with his physicality actually. Sometimes he’d track back really well. He was strong, he was overaggressive in the one moment where he got a yellow card where he rushed up to the [referee]. I thought Yves Bissouma was very good.”

Tottenham Hotspur has shown great under new manager. With amazing start to the season, Christian Romero, Son Heung-Min and James Maddinson are making the difference for club this season.
