Pundit Janusz Michallik ranks Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah as the fifth best player in the Premier League at the moment.

Speaking on ESPN, the pundit was given tough the task of ranking the best five Premier League players currently. However, he made some controversial calls while picking his top-5.

As everybody expected, Mohamed Salah was in his top-5 players in the Premier League. But the Egyptian international as the fifth best player despite being two-time PFA Player of the year.

Michalik discussed his view on Salah and said :-

“Number five, I’ve changed that a few times, it’s not perfect, but Mo Salah. He could’ve been much higher. Without him look at Liverpool. He’s involved in just about every goal Liverpool scores, and in my opinion he continues to be absolutely superb with this newer team as well.”

Everybody can share their opinions but ranking Salah fifth looks quite unfair looking at his stats. Egyptian international has been phenomenal for the Mersyside club since joining them back in 2017.

Many also suggests that Salah is one of the best player in Premier League history. He has been in top form for Liverpool this season, as Reds are doing quite well currently.

Salah is both creating and scoring for Liverpool in this current campaign. With time, he has matured as attacker and he also lost his selfishness in front of goal.

However, the only player who can compete with Salah is Erling Haaland. Since joining City last summer, the Norwegian striker is scoring goals for fun in the Premier League.
