According to reports by Sky Sports RB Leipzig’s attacker Christopher Nkunku is yet to decide whether to join Chelsea or not.
26- years old Frenchman is described as a “World Class” player and is being recognized over Europe.
The French forward has been in amazing form this season having scored 9 goals in 13 appearances for the club. He went on scoring 35 last season.
Nkunku is yet to decide on his Chelsea move.
Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Seth has said that Nkunku doesn’t know yet whether he’ll join Stamford next season.
Seth ttold GIVEMESPORT:
“The information I’ve been given is he hasn’t fully made up his mind yet because there are still talks going on with lots of European clubs. But it does seem that Chelsea have sneaked ahead of the pack.”
There were reports of Nkunku already completing his Medicals for Chelsea in Frankfurt. Journalist David Ornstein recently reported that Nkunku has already signed a Pre-contract with Chelsea, who are willing to pay more than his release clause.
The deal was considered “done and dusted” by some reporters but it now seems there may be a long way till the deal is completed.
Why Nkunku is a good fit for Chelsea?
Nkunku is one of the player that could thrive in Chelsea as he’s already doing in RB Leipzig. Nkunku is a dangerous attacker with a very good pace. He’s been the main player for RB Leipzig.
Chelsea are looking for someone who could take on defenders and score many goals. They have signed Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this season and they want them to pair up with Frenchman next season.
