Manchester United are set to sign Borussia Dortmund Star Jude Bellingham. They tried really hard to sign the youngster back in 2020 but Jude decided to join Borussia Dortmund. He has been tremendous for the German side and has been one of the best player.
According to recent reports, Man United are finally agreed to spend a big chunk of money on the wonderkid.
According to reports from The Mirror, Man United are set to spend at least £100 million for the England international. They are ready to battle with Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester City to sign Bellingham.
Bellingham has directly contributed to 11 goals this season. The 19 years old also ended up at 4th position for Kopa Trophy.
Man United are currently in the Europa league which might lure away Bellingham as he would like to play for a Premier League team.
Many other clubs including Manchester United also interested in Bellingham
Bellingham has definitely caught the eyes of top European clubs who are keen to sign him. Likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, and Real Madrid are also in the race to sign him.
According to Marca, Real Madrid and Liverpool are favorites to sign 19-years old. The Spanish side is looking for a long-term replacement for Luka Modric and thinks Jude might be a perfect fit. Liverpool needs a young midfielder to refresh their midfield.
Fabrizio Romano has already confirmed that Bellingham was the number-one target last summer. Speaking to Caught Offside, he said :
“As I mentioned many times, I think every week we’ll have a different story on Jude Bellingham. One week Chelsea favourite, one week Real, one week Liverpool, one week City…”
“I’m sure that Liverpool want him, it’s not new – they will go for a top midfielder and he’s top of the list, but the race is open between many top clubs and it won’t be decided now.”
