India ex-skipper Virat Kohli is facing severe criticisms from all corners at the current moment.

While many ex-cricketers and fans want Virat out of the Indian set-up, many players and fans want Virat to continue playing his natural game.

In this list, there is now the name of former Australia captain and player, Ricky Ponting.

Ponting wants Kohli to be present during both the upcoming World Cups.

Benching Virat could also be a catastrophic step for India as then they would not have a senior player on their side.

Virat ultimately will find it difficult to make his way back into the Indian team.

He is not taking part in the West Indies series as well.

Many experts feel that Kohli is not an automatic selection for the ICC T20 World Cup.

Ponting feels that he would rather fear playing against an Indian team that has Kohli than the one without him.

Thus, he added that Kohli should be allowed to feel as comfortable as possible and it will be a matter of time before he will flip the switch and start playing his natural game again.

Ponting also opined that if he were the coach of the Indian team right now, he would continue backing Virat Kohli.

Also, he feels that a lot of great players in the past have also been in the same situation and have bounced back as well.
