Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma, played a flamboyant knock against Nepal on 4th September. He scored 74 runs off 59 deliveries. In his flamboyant knock, we achieved few milestones also. Rohit Sharma become 1st opener and 3rd cricketer overall to complete 250 ODI sixes.

Meanwhile, in the match, Rohit Sharma also created other records. He became the Indian captain with the most number of half-centuries in the tournament. The cricketer also led the side in the 2018 edition of the tournament, where he was sensational with the bat. The 36-year-old became the first cricketer to hit 10 50+ scores in the continental cup, surpassing the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who has nine to his name.

Rohit Sharma was eventually adjudged the Player of the Match but despite so, the cricketer believes that there’s a lot of room for improvement.
