Romano claims that Rasmus Hojlund wants to join Manchester United

Transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano claims that Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund wants to join Manchester United this summer.

Arsenal are linked with a move to sign Hojlund in this transfer window, but 20-year-old wants join the Red Devils this summer. Both the teams had solid campaign last term, however they’ll want to achieve greater things next season.

According to GIVEMESPORTS, Romano states under the guidance of Eric Ten Hag, Hojlund can be become starman at Old Trafford next season. Meanwhile, United are having excellent summer transfer window this term.

Red Devils have already signed Mason Mount from Chelsea for a fee of £64.2 million and Andre Onana from Inter Milan for £52.5 million. Jonny Evans also joined club from Leicester City on a free transfer.

Many clubs are intrested in signing Hojlund this summer, according to reports. Seria A side Atalanta have set a price tag of £55 million for the forward this summer.

However, Manchester United have pushed ahead and are now favourites to sign Hojlund. The move is more likely happen because the Danish international is a United fan and is dreaming about the transfer.

Romano stated on Hojlund’s desire to join United this summer :-

“This is the priority now (for Manchester United), to try to reach an agreement with Atalanta for Hojlund.

“We know the player is, I always say this, super, super keen on the move. He would love to play for Manchester United. He’s been a Manchester United fan since he was a baby, so it’s a big opportunity for him to go to Man United now.”
