Sky Sports pundit Courtney Sweetman-Kirk claims Liverpool have a huge talent on their pocket. The pundit was talking about 20-year old Liverpool man Jarell Quansah. Courtney was covering the game between Liverpool and Union Saint Gilloise on Europa League. Although the Reds lost the game 1-2, they were already qualified prior to the match. Moreover, Klopp started a young squad in the match which had a tough time against the Belgian side. Quansah was a real standout player for Liverpool during the match. The central defender scored the opening goal for Liverpool as they equalised the goal from Union SG.

It was a first goal for him in senior outfit. Moreover, he was also very good in one-on-one situations and aerial duels throughout the game. The pundit said praising him that,

You’d maybe argue some of them aren’t ready. But at times you have to see it in a game situation.

But Quansah has been fantastic. He’s definitely one of the players that will progress forward.”

Liverpool have s great track record of establishing young talents from academy and Quansah may be the next on the list. The defender already has 12 senior appearances for the Reds with a goal and assist. Hopefully, there will be more for him to come as rhe season will proceed. Even the manager admitted that he was “surprised” by his performances during the pre-season. Now with Matip out for the season, there are chances that fans will get to see their prodigy prospect more often during the course of the season.
