Stuttgart manager confirms as Wataru Endo close to joining Liverpool

Stuttgart manager Sebestian Hoeness confirms that Japanese midfielder Wataru Endo is close to joining Liverpool as he missed training today.

Endo is now given greenlight to join the Mersyside club as his current boss confirms his exit. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano brought the news out claiming that Liverpool have agreed permanent move for the 30-year-old.

Athletic Journalist David Ornstein also claims that Stuttgart has given Endo permission to undergo medical at Liverpool. The Japanese midfielder has travel to Mersyside to complete the formalities with £19m deal on the table.

Liverpool are in a urgent need of a new defensive midfielder this summer, specially after Chelsea hijacked both their targets Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia. Endo’s signing was suprise for everyone as his name never came under speculation.

Stuttgart boss confirms Endo’s departure from the club

Stuttgart have been fighting for relegation for last couple seasons but Endo has been phenomenal for German outfit. The 30-year-old captain’s both his club and country as he is player to be reckon with.

Manager Sebastian Hoeness confirms that Endo has not taken part in the training session today. He also claims that the opportunity for the midfielder to join Liverpool at this stage of his career is huge. He said :-

“I can confirm that Wataru has been released by the club to hold talks and take medical tests. He wasn’t in training today.

“From the club’s point of view, the economic package is good. Wataru is a very important player in terms of sport and personality. At the age of 30 he now has the opportunity to switch to Liverpool in the Premier League. It’s a dream of his.”
