Former footballer and pundit Chris Sutton backs Liverpool against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday as both the clubs are unbeaten in Premier League this season.
Writing in his weekly BBC Sports, Sutton claims Reds will narrowly beat Spurs this weekend. Ange Postecoglou’s side will host Liverpool at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Since arrival of new, Tottenham has been in red-hot form, while Liverpool are changing their fortunes after last campaign horror performance. Although, Both the teams are playing exciting brand of football in this current campaign as they’ll be full of confidence going into this weekend’s clash.
Meanwhile, Sutton expects quite a few goals in the match, as he reckons Liverpool will win the match 3:2. He wrote on BBC Sports:-
“You’ve probably noticed I’ve always been a fan of Ange Postecoglou.
“But he has been absolutely phenomenal since he arrived at Spurs.
“I love the way he sticks to his guns with the way his teams play. It was the same against Arsenal last weekend, and they will go for it in this game too.
“I could make a case for either team to win it, but I just have a feeling Liverpool will snatch it. What I know for certain is that there will be plenty of goals.”
This will be one of the most exciting fixture this season as both the sides have few new faces in their teams this season. Both the managers will be planning their strategies but the pressure stays constant.
