Tim Sherwood shares whether Arsenal or Manchester City will win the Premier League as per him. Sherwood says he believes man City will overcome Arsenal this season as well. He was speaking on The Kelly and Wrighty Show about his choice. Meanwhile, Arsenal are again on top of the Premier League table, a place where they spent most of the last season. They beat Brentford in the dying minutes last weekend owing to Havertz’s header. On the other hand, City recently shared points with another title challengers Liverpool at Etihad Stadium.
However, Sherwood still feels that Man City still have a hand on their title this season too. He said,
“I think it’s one of the best, more competitive leagues we’ve had for a long time. I think they still will win the league.
I honestly believe that. Like Benty, I think they’ll go on a 10, 15 game unbeaten run. They change gear when they come into March. March, April, they just stick the games together and it’s sickening for everyone else looking in.”
Both City and Arsenal are not looking at their best till now. However, Liverpool also cannot be ignored in the title race after their recent performances. The Reds might still not be at their best too yet. Besides this, Unai Emery’s Aston Villa also made a statement by beating Tottenham away from home closing the gap. However, it still feels too early to consider Villa in the race but they are rising quickly as well. It is very hard to call. But there is no question that many will be agreeing with Sherwood’s assessment that City are in the driving seat.
