Tony Cascarino has urged Liverpool to sign Brentford star as a potential replacement for Mo Salah. Cascarino was indicating it for Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo. Writing for the Times, the pundit suggested that the 24-year-old Cameroon international could be a smart signing for Liverpool. Moreover, Bryan has been in a sensational form for The Bees this season. He has registered six goals and two assists so far this Premier League season. Cascarino spoke on Liverpool’s quest for Salah replacement. He said, tipping them to bring the winger to Anfield.

“If Mohamed Salah ever leaves Liverpool, the club should go and buy Bryan Mbeumo as his replacement.

“At only 24, his best years are ahead of him and he has all the attributes to succeed at a club of Liverpool’s stature: he is versatile, durable and counterattacks with real ferocity.

“He has increased his goal output, with nine in the Premier League last season and six in only ten appearances this year, including the tap-in to an empty net that wrapped up Brentford’s 2-0 win away to Chelsea.”

For Liverpool, Mbeumo can be a dream replacement for Salah. The Cameroon international is still quite young and already established Premier League winger. However, Brentford might ask for a premium amount for Mbeumo. Though, Liverpool might be willing to take the risk on the winger, who could slot in nicely at Anfield in 2024.
