Trent Alexander Arnold says they know about Man United ahead of their clash with Liverpool

Liverpool vice-captain Trent Alexander Arnold says they completely understand about Manchester United now. This has come from Alexander Arnold just before Liverpool vs United on Sunday. The Reds will go as the favourites to win the game after United’s poor display continues. Despite this, Liverpool must stay alert as Ten Hag’s side can surprise them anytime with their quality players. The match is expected to be a complete pack of entertainment at Anfield.

Speaking to beIN Sports ahead of the game, Trent says that his side knows the mentality of United now. The Reds were in a similar situation during the previous campaign as well. He said,

“We know how much it would mean to them and their season. What better way to kickstart your season, get that belief again, then going to Anfield and getting a result. We understand what their mentality is as ours would be going to their place. You get a result there and it sets the tone for yourselves and you get that belief.

We need to match that and we need to execute our game plan. I’m sure we’ll be able to do that, but it’s not going to be an easy walk in the park just because they’ve had a couple of bad results. The game’s still the game.”

Liverpool fans will expect a big result against Manchester United

The fans at Merseyside will surely be expecting landslide of a result against Manchester. Their previous meetings at Anfield ended in a 4-0 and 7-0 consecutively. However, United also won 2-1 at their home soil last season. Despite this, it will surely be a high-voltage clash between the two abyss’ of England. Erik Ten Hag’s men will be desperate to fight back after an injury-driven season. However, if they are to produce a miracle in the game, they must put their hearts out on the field. Considering the form Liverpool are in, it looks to be an easy task for them to snatch all three points and firm their position at the top of league.
