Aston Villa’s striker Keinan Davis is set to undergo medical with Udinese in a shocking news. The striker reportedly turned down offers from Championship sides secure a move to Udinese. Keinan Davis has played 86 first team games for Villa, scoring six goals and providing seven assists.

Keinan Davis to join Udinese amidst Championship offers

Keinan will be leaving in the final days of the transfer deadline. The striker is in search for more game time as Serie A side Udinese agreed terms with Villa for the potential transfer. However, Championship clubs like Hull City and Swansea City were the two clubs interested.

Swans boss Michael Duff confirmed this week that there had been contact over a potential move , alongwith Hull manager Liam Rosenior also did the same last week. Regardless of this, Davis seems to opt a move to Italy. According to Gianluca Di Marzio , the striker is expected at Udinese on Thursday in order to complete his medical.

The move to Udinese comes due to the fact Italian club is belongs to the same family that owns Watford – where Davis spent his loan last season. During his spell at Vicarage Road, Keinan bagged 7goals and 2assists as well in 34 league appearances.

The season prior to Watford, Davis spent his loan spell at Nottingham Forest. He even help them securing a move to the Premier League through play-offs.

Meanwhile, Udinese only has picked up 1point from their first two games in Serie A. On Monday they settled for a 1-1 draw with Salernitana after they lose their opening game 0-3 to Juventus.
