Virat Kohli was hit by Harshal Patel in the nets ahead of the big World Cup semifinal. The batter was hit on the abdomen while facing Harshal. Harshal immediately ran towards Virat to check if he was okay and ready to continue. Virat looked in pain initially but then felt good to continue.

Kohli returned to the training immediately afterward and looks fit and ready to go for the most important clash of the tournament.

Before the semifinal match versus England, supporters expressed concern for the batter’s well-being as soon as the incident’s footage became viral on social media.

Earlier Rohit Sharma also injured himself in the nets and there were injury concerns in the Indian camp. Both batters looked fine afterward, as Indian fans could feel a sense of relief.

Virat’s Form

Virat has been instrumental yet again in this T20 World Cup. He pulled off a great heist against Pakistan single-handedly making the team win. He continued his form thereafter scoring fifties against Netherlands and Bangladesh. The star batter looks back in business and is very crucial for India’s chances in the tournament. With 246 runs in 5 games, Kohli has the highest tournament.

Virat would be hoping that he continues his form and helps India win the semifinals and probably the final of the World Cup also.
