The Liverpool midfielder, Fabio Carvalho is currently on loan at Hull City and is looking for a fresh start when he returns. Carvalho was earlier sent on loan to RB Leipzig but he was unable to find his form in the Bundesliga. The youngster is now on loan at Hull City and his performance has been impressive. He is one of the best midfielders in the Championship this season. Moreover, with Jurgen Klopp’s departure, many players will get a chance under the new manager. Arne Slot will mostly be taking over the managerial spot at Anfield. Although Slot’s style of play is similar to Klopp’s, there are still several differences.
While talking about his future at Anfield, Carvalho said,
“The way I see it, it’s a fresh start. Not just for me, but obviously whoever comes in. It’ll be a fresh start for me, and for the likes of Tyler [Morton] as well. We’ve just got to take the chances that come. Really grasp it and take it with both hands.”
The 21-year-old also mentioned about his chat with Tyler after the news about Klopp’s departure came in. Carvalho said: “Ultimately, it’s a fresh start for both of us. We’ll just go back there with nothing to lose and everything to gain.”

Although Fabio Carvalho’s performance at RB Leipzig was disappointing, his performance at Hull City was brilliant. The U-21 Portuguese international scored 9 goals and provided 2 assists in 19 appearances. Moreover, he was in the starting line-up in most of the games. A break into Liverpool’s first-team squad will be massive for Carvalho. However, he said that he is now focusing on Hull City and he will decide depending on how the pre-season turns out.
