Chelsea wants around £50 million for midfelder Conor Gallagher this summer, as per journalist Dean Jones.

Gallagher has come through the ranks at Cobham and currently plays regularly in first-team at Stanford Bridge. He has made 38 senior apperances across all competitions so far this season.

Apparently, Blues hierarchy put a price tag of £50 million but Gallagher wants to stay at Chelsea too. The 23-year-old have been linked away from Stanford Bridge this summer.

According to GiveMeSports, Journalist Dean Jones said :-

“I’m told around £50m is the ballpark figure Chelsea would be looking at for Gallagher.

“There are other factors that will determine where he ends up if he does indeed leave.

“One of the key factors will be that he’s very much a local lad and isn’t keen to leave the area.

“Anyone I speak to that knows him seems to think he’d still prefer to stay in London.”

Former manager Graham Potter called Gallagher “fantastic” earlier this season. But Daily Mail claimed that Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount are two of the stars to cash in on this summer.

However, the 23-year-old wants to stay at Stanford Bridge, so it will be intresting to see what happens in the summer transfer window.

As per The Evening Standard, West Ham United are interested in signing their long-term target Gallagher this summer. Meanwhile, The Independent suggests Liverpool are plotting a move for the midfielder.
