AC Milan wants to sign Chelsea youngster Armando Broja

AC Milan wants to sign a new striker in the next window. According to Calciomercato, the target is Chelsea star Aramando Broja. Milan are ready to bid £27 million to land Broja. The deal seems unlikely given that he just signed a new contract extension with Chelsea. However, according to the report, the Blues could sell the striker if he fails to get a place in the team.

AC Milan have a dearth of reliable striker in their midst. Olivier Giroud who turns 36 in three days cannot be relied upon for consistent goals. Zlatan Ibrahimović too cannot be relied upon by Milan due to his frequent injuries. A new arrival in the Milan team Divock Origi is yet to show his true potential at Milan. AC Milan needs a young and dynamic striker who they can mold into a perfect team. Chelsea’s Armando Broja is one such prospect for Milan.

Broja joined Southampton last season on loan from Chelsea. He had a good season with Southampton and that has earned him a place at Chelsea. Broja fits the mold of what Milan wants from a young prospect perfectly. He is tall, extremely physical, and has a good pace. Milan could use some of this youth to reinvigorate their forward line. However, it must be noted that at this point in time, it’s all conjecture.

Chelsea manager Graham Potter is also impressed with Broja. Moreover, all the signs point out that Chelsea are going to use him as their main striker in the future. However, as stated before, the decision to sell him might also come if he fails to achieve the breakthrough. Milan would be hoping that they can get their hands on Broja should this ever happen.
