Alan Shearer was left surprised by the performance of substitute Liverpool youngster on Sunday. Conor Bradley came on as a sub for Liverpool and Shearer highlights his short but impressive game. Although there were Trent Alexander and Konate performing excellent but Bradley was special. Klopp was not hesitant in making calling upon the young talents of Bradley and Bobby Clark in such an intense situation. However it was Bradley who got the eyes of Shearer. He said,
“Well done Connor Bradley, really good defending, staying alive and alert, doing his job. They’ve conceded a corner but he had to do that.
He’s done well hasn’t he, done a really good job and looked impressive when he’s come on.”
Despite his exceptional form, Alexander Arnold is not a very good option when it comes to 1V1 defence. Therefore, it is a very good sign by the youngster in terms of covering the Englishman’s loop holes. His introduction was vital to stop Gabriel Martinelli making forays into the Liverpool box at 0-1.
