Chelsea’s new signing Andre Santos returns back to his former club Vasco da Gama due to a problem with his work permit application.

The Blues have registered only two wins in the last 15 premier league matches, this season. Manager Graham Potter is finding himself in a tough position and might get sacked for his constant failure. Despite their poor run, new owners have heavily invested in the team and brought the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez, and Benoît Badiashile to overturn the current situation. But the situation at Stanford Bridge is getting worse.

Now, reports have emerged that one of their new signings is leaving the club.

As per Fabrizio Romano’s report, Brazillian teenager Andre Santos is close to returning to his former club Vasco da Gama, just weeks after leaving the club. Chelsea have faced a problem with his work permit application and therefore Santos is unable to play in the Premier League this season.

Therefore, Chelsea are sending the 18-year-old back to his former club, where he can play regular football for his further development. Earlier Palmeiras agreed on a loan move for the Brazilian but the deal failed afterward.

SANTOS WON SOUTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONS IN COLOMBIA

Santos captained Brazil to the Under-20 South American Championship Title, this year and scored six goals in 8 appearances. He played as a box-to-box midfielder in the whole tournament.

The deal with Santos is almost complete for Vasco, as medical will be lined up soon. Santos has already scored eight goals in 37 games for the Brazilian club. He will return to his former club and will like to continue his good form in Brazil.

Chelsea were left with no other options and will continue without the Brazilian for the rest of the season. Santos has a huge future ahead in the Premier League.
