Santos spotted with Chelsea’s new owner Boehly in Germany

Chelsea’s January signing Andre Santos was spotted at Signal Iduna Park as the Blues lost the match against Borussia Dortmund.

Potter’s side lost the first leg of the round of 16 as Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi scored a sensational goal in the 63rd minute of the match. Chelsea needs to give their full effort in the reverse fixture on 8th March. Blues played a decent game but couldn’t score a goal as João Felix came the closest as his shot struck the post in first-half.

However club’s new owner, Todd Boehly was spotted in the crowd on Wednesday. Under his ownership, Chelsea bought some huge names in the January transfer window. Likes of Mykhailo Mudryk, Enzo Fernandez, and João Felix joined the team last month. Brazillian teenager, Andre Santos was also brought in from Vasco da Gama in January.

SANTOS WAS SPOTTED AT SIGNAL IDUNA PARK

Santos have recently led Brazil to U-20 South American Championship glory where he scored a crucial goal in the final. He played a crucial role in midfield and led his team to triumph.

Now, the teenager has been spotted with Boehly in Germany as Chelsea are waiting for his work permit which has been rejected earlier. But Potter is hopeful about his new work permit and will soon join the team as the manager looks excited to bring in a new midfielder to the squad.

The blues are still looking for a player to pair up with Enzo Fernandez. So far the World Cup winner has paired up with Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. But they are unlikely to stay at Stanford Bridge next season.

Santos can play a crucial part in Chelsea’s newly built squad. He can help them bring back their glory days at Stanford Bridge.
