Simons’ excellent performance this season have caught attention of several big European clubs. However, recents reports suggests Arsenal are currently monitoring him ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to Mirror, Mikel Arteta is quite impressed with Simons’ performance this season. Henceforth, the manager has asked Arsenal chief Edu Gasper to sign the 20-year-old in the summer.

The Gunners are confident that the deal can be done for them in the summer. Arsenal will bring reinforcement in the middle of the park to strengthen their engine room for next season.

But, reports also suggests that getting Simons signature will not be easy as PSG are considering to resign him in the summer.

According to Fichajes, Simons is not willing to return to the French Capital as the midfielder feels he might struggle to find regular game time at PSG. So, this can be major boost for Arsenal ahead of the summer.

Simons’ current market value is at around £26m and still has more than four years left in his current contract at PSV. Due to which, Arsenal will offer a lucrative deal to persuade the Dutch club to sell him.

Simons is extremely talented and has all the attributes to become world-class in the future. He will be great signing for Arsenal if they manage to sign him in the summer.
