Kieran Tierney could be sold by Arsenal this summer transfer window
Kieran Tierney lost his position in the Arsenal squad since Zinchenko joined them from Manchester City. Furthermore there is a question as to whether or not Kieran Tierney fits the system of Mikel Arteta. Journalist Dean Jones have therefore expressed his concerns regarding the future of the player. Jones said, “I don’t think they’re keen to get his wages off, but I think that they are very open to the prospect of him leaving. I think that they are happy with him as a player.” He further added, “I think that he’s a good player and they’re completely content with the levels he can play at, but I don’t think he fully fits the system.” However Aston Villa are also said to be in the race to try and sign Tierney. A move by Aston Villa will definitely be an interesting development in the transfer saga.
Kieran Tierney have only made four starts in the Premier League so far this season. Arteta seems to prefer to start Zinchenko over the Scottish international. And with the Gunners doing so well right now, it is unlikely for Arteta to make any changes in the starting XI.
