ARSENAL ARE CONFIDENT OVER THE CONTRACT EXTENSION OF BUKAYO SAKA

According to reports, Arsenal are confident that Bukayo Saka will sign a new long-term contract with the club. The forward has two years left on his contract. However, agents of the player and the Gunners are not panicking over the situation. Saka’s contract extension talks are going slow but very positive. Hence, Mikel Arteta is sure that Saka will stay with the Gunners for a long time.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said,

I am very confident that we as a club and Bukayo, his family, his agent, everybody, we are very much aligned in what we want to achieve. And now it is about putting it on a piece of paper.

Now Bukayo Saka has also said that he has the same feelings Arteta has about his future.

THE PLAYER IS ALSO CONFIDENT ABOUT THE CONTRACT EXTENSION

Bukayo Saka said,”

‘Yes, I share his confidence,”

He also added

, “I really feel the love from my team-mates, my coaches and the fans as well. So yeah, I really feel loved here.”

The forward also added that Mikel Arteta is always there to support and help him develop his game. Mikel Arteta has a close-knit bond with all the young players at the club.

This has helped the youngsters stay at Arsenal and develop their game. Saka finished the last season as the club’s highest goalscorer. He rose above the racist abuse he suffered after missing the deciding penalty in England’s Euro final against Italy. Bukayo Saka was linked with a move to Manchester City. However, there was no credibility in the reports.

Saka joined the club at the age of seven. He made his debut under head coach Unai Emery. But the player has flourished under Mikel Arteta. He recently made his 100th appearance for the Gunners against Bournemouth.
