Arsenal are now considering move for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount in the summer transfer window to bolster their midfield.

Arsenal are now tempted to buy Mason Mount in the summer from Chelsea. Gunners already have huge attacking talent in their team and is still willing to bring reinforcement this summer.

Gunners performance this season has been a huge suprise. Arsenal are also involved in the title race and were favourites to lift the Premier League trophy for extended periods of the season.

Arsenal are already planning to get better in the upcoming campaign and bring in some reinforcement. Mikel Arteta is reluctant to allow their progress to be halted by complacency.

Gunners are planning to bolster their midfield ranks in the summer. West Ham star Declan Rice and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo are under Arteta’s radar.

According to GOAL, Arsenal have shown interest in Mount, who will be offloaded in the summer. Liverpool and Manchester United are also taking interest in the English International recently.

However, Arsenal will ditch Emile Smith-Rowe at the end of the season if they acquire Mason Mount from Chelsea. The 22-year-old midfielder has struggled for minutes at the Emirates this season.

Meanwhile, Arteta spoke about Smith-Rowe last month and said :-

“He knows how much we love him, and we know how much we missed him and how much we need his qualities.

“And now he needs to prove it, he needs to prove how much he wants to win, and how much he’s going to contribute to this team to be better and win.”

However, Smith-Rowe could be the one to be sold first at Arsenal, considering the player will also want guarantees heading into next season.
